Arizona's Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) serves eligible people with qualifying developmental disabilities. DDD eligibility and Arizona Long Term Care System (ALTCS) eligibility are distinct; people who qualify for both can receive HCBS/LTSS and health-plan services coordinated through DDD.
Important: DDD and ALTCS are different programs. Someone can qualify for DDD without meeting ALTCS long-term-care criteria. ALTCS requires a separate financial and functional/level-of-care determination.
