Indiana's Bureau of Disabilities Services administers developmental-disability HCBS programs including the Family Supports Waiver and Community Integration and Habilitation Waiver. Family Supports is designed for non-residential supports, while CIH serves people needing broader community-based habilitation and residential services.
Important: Indiana currently has a temporary provider certification/enrollment moratorium for several HCBS waiver service categories that began August 1, 2026. That affects new provider enrollment and network capacity, not whether an individual should apply for services.
