Iowa operates multiple HCBS waivers, including the Intellectual Disability Waiver. The ID Waiver can fund respite, supported community living, supported employment, day habilitation and home/vehicle modifications.
Important: Iowa notes that some HCBS waiver programs may have waiting lists and availability changes with utilization. Apply through Iowa HHS and ask specifically about current waiting-list status for the waiver that matches the person's needs.
