Mississippi's Department of Mental Health Bureau of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities administers the ID/DD Waiver through regional centers. Mississippi also operates a 1915(i) IDD Community Support Program for some community services outside the waiver.
Important: The ID/DD Waiver and 1915(i) Community Support Program are different pathways. Start with the appropriate regional center for waiver evaluation, but ask whether 1915(i) supported living, employment, adult day or prevocational services may also be relevant.
