North Dakota's Developmental Disabilities Division uses regional DD offices and program managers to coordinate community services. The Traditional IID/DD HCBS Waiver is available to children and adults who meet Medicaid, developmental-disability and ICF/IDD level-of-care criteria.
Important: North Dakota DD services begin through a regional DD referral, not by contacting waiver providers directly. The Traditional IID/DD Waiver is one component of the broader state DD system and includes family support, respite, employment, habilitation and residential options.
