Texas I/DD long-term care
Official HHSC overview of eligibility, LIDDA access and long-term service options.

Texas routes many I/DD services through Local Intellectual and Developmental Disability Authorities (LIDDAs). Home and Community-based Services (HCS) can support eligible people living in the community.
Important: Texas HCS has an interest list because demand exceeds funded capacity. Ask the LIDDA about getting on relevant interest lists before support becomes urgent.
