Wisconsin adults seeking long-term disability supports generally start at a local Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC). Major Medicaid long-term-care options include Family Care, Family Care Partnership and the self-directed IRIS program.
Important: Wisconsin does not rely on one single adult I/DD waiver pathway. ADRCs help screen eligibility and explain the tradeoffs between managed-care options such as Family Care and self-directed IRIS.
